The ADA KUMU Black Lava Stone is a versatile black lava stone for aquariums and terrariums. This set contains natural, porous, and lightweight lava stones approximately 30 - 80 mm in size, which are ideal for attaching mosses and epiphytic plants, allowing for a wide range of design possibilities.
The black lava stones provide ideal conditions for epiphytic plants and beneficial bacteria due to their porosity and structure, contributing to improved water quality through natural biofiltration. The dark colour of the Black Lava Stones creates striking contrasts and can highlight other natural colours in the aquascape.
The Black Lava Stone has a moderate impact on the total hardness (GH) and pH level of the water. This effect can be managed with regular water changes, making these stones a flexible choice for various types of aquariums.
