ADA KUMU Blond Sand from the KUMU Layout series is a high-quality substrate that is characterised by its dark cream tone and leaves a calming impression in the layout. This substrate has a coarser and more angular grain compared to size S (Blond Sand S), which makes it particularly versatile. With a grain size of 0,85 - 2 mm, it is ideal for different design variants.
KUMU Blond Sand has a low effect on the total hardness (GH) of the water and a medium effect on the pH value. If the influence on the water values is too strong, this can be counteracted with regular water changes to keep the water quality stable. This is essential for the well-being of the aquarium inhabitants.
This sand is not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. The natural colour tones and special texture help to create a realistic and harmonious underwater landscape.
The KUMU series is not only suitable for use in small glass showcases as paludarium decoration material, but also as a versatile design material for optimising compositions and refining scenic arrangements in aquascapes.
