Description
ADA - KUMU Brook Sand from the KUMU Layout series is a high-quality substrate that has been specially developed for aquariums. The natural colours of Brook Sand are reminiscent of downstream sediment deposits and lend any layout a calm and harmonious atmosphere. It is available in a practical 250 ml pack.
Brook Sand has a medium effect on the total hardness (GH) of the water and lowers the pH value slightly. A change in the water values can be counteracted by regular partial water changes.
The fine-grained structure of the sand promotes the root growth of plants and provides a suitable environment for soil organisms.
The KUMU series is not only suitable for use in small glass showcases as paludarium decoration material, but also as a versatile design material for optimising compositions and refining scenic arrangements in aquascapes.
