Description
ADA KUMU Hazel Gravel S from the KUMU Layout series is characterised by its sharp-edged grains and warm colours. These pebbles with a grain size of 2-3 mm are ideal for creating details in aquascapes, for example by selectively scattering them over sand. The striking, reddish-brown and cream-coloured marbling gives the substrate a unique appearance that is also ideal for use in paludariums. When moist, the gravel takes on an almost amber-coloured hue, which further emphasises its natural appearance.
A slightly coarser version of Hazel Gravel is also available, which can be used in combination with the finer version to create a natural depth effect. This effect contributes significantly to the realistic design of habitats.
The Hazel Gravel S has a strong influence on the water hardness (GH) and a medium influence on the pH value. To counteract these influences, regular water changes are recommended. With a pack size of 250 ml, this gravel offers the perfect amount for smaller projects or specific detail work in larger aquariums.
The KUMU series is not only suitable for use in small glass showcases as paludarium decoration material, but also as a versatile design material for optimising compositions and refining scenic arrangements in aquascapes.
