Description
The ADA Solar RGB II is a high-performance LED lighting system with excellent colour rendering, specifically designed for planted aquariums. By optimising the control of RGB colours (red, green, blue), it not only promotes healthy aquatic plant growth but also enhances their natural colours. Green and red tones appear particularly vivid. With an illumination intensity of up to 31.000 lux and a colour temperature of 9.000 – 12.000 Kelvin, it provides optimal lighting conditions for demanding plants.
The lighting can be controlled via the ADA CONTROLLER App. In addition to dimming and timer functions, the Advanced Mode allows dynamic brightness adjustments throughout the day, simulating a natural light cycle. The Group-SYNC function also enables the simultaneous control of multiple units, making it particularly suitable for larger aquariums.
The housing is equipped with radiation fins, which ensure efficient heat dissipation. Despite its high output, the lighting remains stable and durable thanks to passive cooling. The LEDs have a lifespan of over 30.000 hours.
The recommended mounting height is 30 cm above the water surface. Installation can be carried out using the optionally available ADA Solar RGB Stand or sturdy ceiling hooks. Even without the app, the lighting can be operated via an ON/OFF switch or the NA Control Timer II.

Note
- At reduced brightness, slight variations in LED colour may occur.
- The electronic ballast may produce a brief sound when switched on.
- The AC adapter should be replaced after five years.
- For ceiling installation, load-bearing hooks with a minimum capacity of 2,6 kg must be used.
Application
Using the ADA CONTROLLER App
- Download the app on a smartphone or tablet.
- Connect the control unit and power adapter to the lighting system.
- Plug in the power cable and switch on the light.
- Open the app and adjust the settings as desired.
Without App Control
- Connect the control unit and power adapter to the lighting system.
- Plug in the power cable.
- Switch the light on via the ON/OFF switch.
- Alternatively, the NA Control Timer II can be used for operation.
Installation & Maintenance
- Install using the optional ADA Solar RGB Stand or ceiling suspension.
- Recommended height: 30 cm above the water surface.
- Remove dust using a blower or dry cloth.
- Do not use cleaning agents to clean the lamp.
- Store in a dry place if not in use for an extended period.
