Description

The AquaCare Bypass for the CO2-Reactor is used to throttle the water flow inside the reactor. This can be finely adjusted with the help of the built-in regulator. The ball valve acts indirectly, which means that throttling the bypass results in more flow in the reactor.
The bypass is used especially when a filter is operated with a flow rate at the aquarium that is too high for the reactor in question.

In the case of very powerful filters or pumps, it may be that the intended bypass has piping that is too small. In these cases, the 75 bypass plus reducer to 50 mm can be selected and connected to a COR 50.
