Description

These Aquael Media Packs serve as replacement in the Versamax Mini Filter. Two different variations are available. The standard variation consists of a standard sponge, a media cartridge in between and a wool sponge on the other side. The carbomax variation additionally contains activated carbon. Both variations care for an efficient mechanical filtration of the water by intercepting coarse impurities and suspended particles. Moreover, they provide a great surface for collonisation of useful nitrifying bacteria. The activated carbon in the carbomax variation adds a physical filtration of the water in order to remove unwanted substances, such as chloride and cupper.
