Description

Arecafibers are segments of the Areca-Palmtree's bark, which are perfectly suited as decoration for aquarium tanks as well as a hiding-place for shrimps and simultaneously as invaluable natural water treatment. Its high proportion of tannic substances, that is released into the water bit by bit, provides invertebrates such as shrimps and especially their offspring with a natural protection. Moreover, shrimps like to graze the organic microfilm. The woven texture not only allows small animals to hide but also enables you to hide unsightly technical parts of your tank such as filters. For this purpose you can easily cut the segments into the desired size. Arecafibers, as most natural materials, need a little while to sink.

Application

Individually dose at will and cut to desired size. Place in aquarium tank. For special decorative purpose it may be helpful to wait until it sinks automatically or put something heavy onto it until it is soaked sufficiently.
