Back to Nature's Silicate Control has a preventive effect against silicate-related algae problems in freshwater aquariums. Silicates, compounds of silicon and oxygen, play an essential role as nutrients for diatoms, a type of brown algae. These algae thrive particularly well in waters that are rich in silicates. Back to Nature Silicate Control utilises natural clay minerals to bind silicates and thus prevent the development of algae problems caused by high silicate concentrations. The unique, purely biological effectiveness of this product is based on the use of rare clay minerals. In addition, Silicate Control not only helps to reduce the silicate content in the water, but can also help to effectively reduce high phosphate levels.

Application

One dosing spoon (2,5 g) per 100 litres of aquarium water removes up to 10 mg silicate/l,
Add directly to the flow or into the water as required.

With a low silicate content, range up to 100 litres per dosing spoon (2,5 g). Ensure a sufficient carbonate hardness of at least KH 6 before use. If this is too low, it must be raised accordingly before use!

Note

Keep away from children!

For sensitive aquatic organisms such as Dissolve in water before use and then add slowly throughout the day!
