Description
The Bavaria Fluid Systems solenoid valve BMV61212 is a high-quality 2/2-way coaxial solenoid valve manufactured in Germany, which was specially developed as a night shut-off for CO2 systems in aquariums. By interrupting the CO2 supply at night, the solenoid valve prevents enrichment while CO2 consumption by the plants is interrupted and thus protects aquarium inhabitants such as fish and shrimps. The normally closed valve has a power consumption of only 1,6 W and can be used in continuous operation with an operating voltage of 230 V AC (100% duty cycle = 100% switch-on time). With a maximum switching pressure of 16 bar, the valve ensures a reliable and precise CO2 supply. The connections are designed for standard 4/6 mm hoses and offer a secure hold thanks to the screw connections supplied. With protection class IP 65 and durable materials such as stainless steel and nickel-plated brass, the valve offers a safe and robust solution for long-term use.
