Description
Begonia 'Benigo Pink' originally comes from tropical and subtropical regions and is known for its dark foliage with small pink spots. This type of trout begonia prefers an environment with high humidity and indirect light, making it ideal for use in humidity-loving terrariums. It thrives well in well-drained, humus-rich substrate and requires regular watering, keeping the substrate always moist but not waterlogged. It should also be sprayed regularly with low-lime water. Temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius are optimal for the growth of Begonia 'Benigo Pink'.
The compact, bushy growth form of Begonia 'Benigo Pink' makes it particularly suitable for small to medium-sized terrariums. The heart-shaped, slightly serrated, and pointed leaves are dark green with small pink spots, providing an appealing contrast that enhances the visual appeal of the terrarium. These leaves give the terrarium a vibrant and unique colouration. Additionally, the plant offers hiding places for small terrarium inhabitants and contributes to improving air quality by filtering pollutants and supporting high humidity. With its easy-care nature and aesthetic appeal, Begonia 'Benigo Pink' is a valuable addition to any humidity-loving terrarium.
