Description

The Casca Tinguie Shrimp Cave is a unique natural product made from the woody fruits of a soap tree from South America. These nut shells offer an excellent way to enrich the aquarium with a natural element that is both decorative and functional. Shrimp, crabs, and crayfish love to use the Casca Tinguie as hiding spots and retreats.

Casca Tinguie contributes to natural habitat design and provides protection and security for aquarium inhabitants. The rough surface of the nut shells also makes an excellent substrate for mosses and epiphytes, which can anchor themselves to the structure. Additionally, the nut shells slowly release humic substances and tannins into the water, improving water quality and providing a mild antibacterial effect.

Usage

Briefly boil the Casca Tinguie and soak well before adding it to the aquarium. This helps the shells sink faster and prevents floating. The nut shells can remain in the water until they completely decompose.
