Description

These Catappa leaves are imported from Cambodia. The leaves of the tropical Catappa tree, also known as Sea almond (Terminalia catappa), are versatile in aquaristics. They are among the leaf types that are most popular in aquaristics due to their content of tannins and saponins.
In general, leaves with an especially long decomposition period, as it is the case with Catappa leaves, should be present in each aquarium as hiding places for shrimps and other animals.

Slow release of the contents into the water, so the effect of the leaves lasts for a longer period
Authentic habitat structuring, hiding and also food for shrimps and small crayfishes
Also available as Nano version, with extra small leaves less than 10 cm long - ideal for Nano aquaria

Usage

Use 1-2 leaves for about 50 liters of water. In the Nano version, 1-2 leaves for about 20-30 liters of water.
They can stay in the water until they are decomposed to the leaf skeleton.

Content

100 % Catappa leaves(Terminalia catappa), dried, in a resealable zip bag for ideal stock-keeping.
In the normal version 10-15 cm long, in the Nano version extra small leaves, under 10 cm long. XXL leaves vary from 15-30 cm, while 3XL leaves range from 20-25 cm and 4XL leaves range from 25-30 cm.
