Description

The Courbaril Pod is a fascinating natural product, derived from the halved fruits of a tree in the legume family (Fabaceae), native to the dense forests of South America. These pods are perfect for adding a natural and decorative touch to your aquarium. Shrimp, crabs, and crayfish appreciate the Courbaril Pods as hiding spots and shelters.

The Courbaril Pods support a natural aquarium design and provide valuable retreats for the aquarium inhabitants. The structured and rough surface is ideal for the attachment of mosses and epiphytes, which can thrive on them. Additionally, the pods gradually release humic substances and tannins into the water, improving water quality and providing a mild antibacterial effect.

Due to their variable size and shape, Courbaril Pods are versatile and can be used in both small nano aquariums and larger aquascapes. They are a wonderful addition to any aquarium, adding a special charm with their natural aesthetics. The attractive surface of the pods becomes a real eye-catcher in the water.
