Description
The CO2 quick test from Dennerle offers an uncomplicated way to quickly check the CO2 content in the aquarium. The test displays the result after just a few seconds with the help of a colour reaction. The practical five-colour comparison scale enables a direct assessment of the CO2 concentration in the water and indicates whether there is a need for action.
This test is particularly suitable for situations where a quick check of the CO2 content is required. While a long-term test is recommended for a CO2 system in order to monitor the course of the CO2 content in the long term, the quick test is ideal for short-term checks, for example after resetting the system. The colour coding makes it easier to interpret the results: Green stands for an optimum CO2 value, yellow signals a value that is too high and blue a value that is too low. Intermediate colours such as yellow-green or green-blue indicate whether the value is moving towards the optimum range.
Features
- Simple test for measuring CO2 concentration in aquarium water
- Colour reaction within seconds
- Fill the test tube with aquarium water, shake briefly, and read the result
Note
The CO2 Quick Test is particularly useful when no CO2 system is in use or for short-term adjustments. CO2 levels are often sufficient in the morning, as plants consume it throughout the day. It is recommended to test the water about halfway through the lighting period to obtain accurate results.
