Description
Drosera nidiformis x natalensis is a fascinating carnivorous plant created by crossing two Drosera species. This hybrid is known for its easy care and effectiveness in catching insects. The narrow, spatula-shaped leaves are covered with sticky tentacles that secrete a substance to catch insects. The plant reaches a height of about 10 to 15 centimetres and forms a rosette-like structure. It thrives well at temperatures between 15 and 30°C and prefers high humidity.
The flowers of Drosera nidiformis x natalensis are small and delicate, varying in shades of pink to purple, adding a decorative touch to any terrarium. This plant is excellent for tropical and humid terrariums, where it serves not only as an insect trap but also as an aesthetic focal point. Its compact size makes it perfect for smaller to medium-sized terrariums and ideal for indoor gardens.
