Description

Dupla Duresin SI is a regenerable, basic anion exchanger with excellent silicate selectivity. It was specially developed to bind residual silicates in the permeate of reverse osmosis systems. With a capacity of up to 10,000 mg silicate per 1,000 ml, it offers an effective solution for aquariums where high levels of silicic acid in tap water can be a problem. Even with a reverse osmosis system, which has a retention rate of 95 %, a low concentration of silicic acid remains in the pure water, which can already lead to algae problems. The Dupla Duresin SI makes it possible to further reduce this concentration and thus improve the water quality in the aquarium.
