Description
Dupla Ferrogan is a highly concentrated iron fertiliser for aquariums, specifically developed to safely eliminate iron deficiency in aquatic plants. Iron is one of the most important nutrients for the healthy and vigorous growth of all aquatic plants. Iron deficiency is indicated by yellow and partially perforated leaves, as well as a lack of oxygen production by the plants. Ferrogan contains a slowly soluble, organic iron compound that ensures a consistent and long-term release of the necessary iron amount. This prevents sudden over-fertilisation and provides optimal conditions for plant growth.
The granulate can be applied either undissolved directly in the tank or in dissolved form. Ferrogan is easy and safe to dose and is ideal for the regular care of aquarium plants. Due to the special formulation of the preparation, trace amounts of iron are absorbed by the aquatic plants, promoting a healthy and robust underwater landscape. The absorption of iron occurs through the conversion of the compound, with a massive chemical binding of the iron to other components supporting the consistent release of the nutrient.

Application
Dosage
- Undissolved: For 100 litres of water, distribute 1 g of Ferrogan in the tank every second week (1 plastic cap full). Distribute Ferrogan near the plants on the substrate. The preparation dissolves within 2-3 days. For new setups, mix the same amount under the substrate.
- Dissolved: From a 1% solution (10 g in 1 litre of water), add 10 ml per 10 litres of water every 2 weeks.
