Dupla Ground Colour River Sand is a natural substrate for freshwater aquariums, characterised by its fine grain size and natural yellow sand colour. This high-quality sand, with a grain size of 0,4 - 0,6 mm, creates an authentic and harmonious underwater landscape reminiscent of the warm, sunny banks of rivers.

The fine grain size of Dupla Ground Colour River Sand offers numerous advantages for the aquarium. The fine sand allows for optimal nutrient distribution, promoting healthy growth of aquatic plants. The fine particles provide plant roots with a stable base in which they can securely anchor, contributing to the health and vitality of the entire aquarium.

The natural yellow sand colour enhances the colours of aquarium inhabitants and plants. This substrate gently reflects light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the aquarium. Additionally, the light sand colour supports the natural behaviour of fish by helping them orient better and feel more at ease.

Dupla Ground Colour River Sand is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional. It is excellent for aquascaping and creating natural biotopes. Before use, the sand should be thoroughly rinsed with cold tap water to remove any transport-related abrasion. A layer thickness of 5 - 8 cm above the nutrient substrate has proven to be optimal.
