Description
The EHEIM coarse filters are used for the mechanical and biological purification of aquarium water. The porous foam material of the filter cartridges removes dirt particles mechanically from the water. After a short running-in phase beneficial cleaning bacteria start to colonize the lage surface area of the foam cartridges. These bacteria support biological water purification by breaking down harmful substances in the water, efficiently.

Application
