Description

The EHEIM SUBSTRAT is a Standard bio-filter medium with a large colonisation area for bacterial cultures and high efficiency. It can be built in one or more layers and is a highly porous sintered quartz filter material. The surface structure offers excellent colonisation conditions for those important purification bacteria . The colonisable area amounts to 450 m² per liter.

EHEIM SUBSTRAT is available in 3 sizes ( 1 l, 2 l and 5 l ). It is washable and reusable.
