Description
The EHEIM reeflexUV+e is a powerful UV clarifier for aquariums that enables precise control thanks to its WiFi control. It utilises the proven EHEIM reflector technology, in which the water flows directly past the UV-C burner without any detours. This ensures twice the effectiveness in reducing bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites and algae spores compared to conventional devices.
The patented reflector technology ensures comprehensive UV-C irradiation and minimises power losses. The reeflexUV+e can be controlled via WLAN-enabled end devices such as smartphones or tablets. Users can select different modes, configure burn times and pauses and activate booster mode in the event of an acute parasite infestation. An e-mail reminder reminds users when it is time to change the bulbs.
The device is suitable for fresh and salt water, is available in four models for aquariums from 300 to 2000 litres and is compatible with the EHEIM Digital family. The AUTO-OFF function of the EHEIM reeflexUV+e ensures that the device switches off automatically when it is opened to protect against UV-C radiation. This ensures safe handling and protects both the eyes and the skin from potential damage caused by UV-C light.
The EHEIM reeflexUV+e is usually connected between the aquarium filter and the outlet pump. The water is channelled from the filter through the UV clarifier, where it passes through the UV-C radiation and is then returned to the aquarium. The connection is usually made via flexible hose connections, which are attached to the inlets and outlets of the device. The UV clarifier ensures clear water quality and healthy fish by reducing germs in the water without affecting the bound cleaning bacteria in the filter.
