Description

The Fluval BioMax filter media are small filter rings with a complex pore system. This system provides optimal conditions for the promotion of nitrifying microorganisms. The microorganisms ensure good water quality and thus support the vitality of living organisms and aquatic plants. The enlarged surface structure also creates a higher filter efficiency. In addition, Fluval BioMax reduces and controls ammonia and nitrite levels. Fluval recommends replacing the filter media every 6 months. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquarium filtration.
