Description

The innovative Giesemann lighting system from MINOX combines design with performance thanks to Diamond Prism optics, which ensure high light output and perfect colour mixing. This technology enables almost loss-free illumination of the aquarium, which brings out the natural colours of plants and fish and promotes algae-free plant growth. This new lighting optic enables uniform, wide-ranging and almost completely loss-free illumination. In addition, any kind of glare when viewing the aquarium is effectively avoided.
The lighting scenario is preconfigured, but can be set and dimmed to individual requirements using the lynk Controller or LED Controller.

The durable premium aluminium housing in a silver anodised finish with black glass elements offers not only style but also functional benefits such as optimum temperature dissipation and protection of the electronics against splash water. Modern LED chips, efficient and energy-efficient, ensure constant brightness with more than 220 lumens per watt.

The MINOX offers various separately available mounting options, both as a pendant light and for attachment to the edge of the aquarium, and can therefore be used flexibly. The separately available aluminium holder with integrated cable guide enables simple installation and offers an adjustable height of the light. Suitable for rimless aquariums with a glass thickness of up to 25 mm, the MINOX is not only a lighting solution but also an aesthetic highlight for any aquarium.

Product Safety Notes

Warning Notes:

Never use the packaging material for playing: Risk of suffocation!
Never look directly into the light source. Bright light can cause eye injuries!
Use the lights with great caution if children or people who cannot assess the risks are nearby.
The light housing and protective glass can become very hot during operation: Be careful when touching them!

General Notes:

Never operate the lights if damage is visible, a malfunction occurs, or after a fall, immersion in water, or other defects.
Never operate the lights without the appropriate protective glass. Replace damaged protective glass immediately to ensure splash protection.
Use the lights exclusively for lighting and additional lighting of aquariums in indoor areas.
Always protect the lights and electrical components from direct splashing water.

Handling Notes:

Install the lighting with a minimum distance of 30 cm from the water surface above the aquarium. Never operate the lighting underwater. Do not place it on the edge of the aquarium or install it in or behind covers or enclosures.
Perform maintenance only when the lights are completely disconnected from the electrical network and removed from the wall or ceiling.
Work inside the aquarium only when the lighting is completely disconnected from the mains (unplug the power cord).
Never attempt to open an LED light module or the power supply unit. Damaging the internal seals will void the warranty.
During cleaning, ensure that no moisture enters the inside of the lights through the ventilation openings.
Never cover the ventilation grids with objects and ensure that sufficient heat exchange can always take place.
