Description

These hazelnut branches come from the mixed woods of the northern Black Forest and can be used in many ways in any aquarium. This can be the creation of a unique, naturalistic scape for shrimp to climb around and other creatures to swim through, or a food source for crayfish and sucking catfish. The fibres of the wood are an important part of the diet of these limnivores. The organic microfilm settle on the surface of the bark, which are used as a welcome food source.

They have a very different colour spectrum, depending on the age and thickness of the branch. The surface appears rather smooth. Like all branches, hazelnut twigs also release humic substances into the water. Each branch is unique and one of a kind. The thickness of the branches varies. All branches are shortened to approximately 16 cm. The composition of the sets cannot be influenced as they are already pre-assembled. The branches are delivered well dried and, therefore, do not sink to the ground immediately.
