Description

Hobby Aqualon filter floss is a fully synthetic filter medium for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This filter material is characterised by its large surface area on which beneficial microorganisms can colonise. This contributes effectively to biological filtration. It is also particularly suitable for trapping coarse dirt and improving the water quality. Depending on the filter type and tank size, the filter floss can be used either on its own or in combination with other filter materials. Before first use, the filter floss should be thoroughly rinsed with warm water to achieve optimum results.
