Description
Hobby Carbon superactive is a highly effective filter material for freshwater and saltwater aquariums that consists of purely plant-based substances. Thanks to its pellet form and extremely fine pore structure, it absorbs toxins, pollutants and dirt particles quickly and efficiently. One gram of this carbon corresponds to an internal surface area of over 900 m², which guarantees a particularly high adsorption capacity.
Hobby Carbon is highly effective at removing drug residues, chlorine, organic waste and odours from the water. The filter material should be rinsed with warm water before use. It should not be used in the aquarium during drug treatment. The maximum period of use is three weeks in order to avoid the return of absorbed toxins.
