The Hobby Bubble Air replacement filter sponge is for the Bubble Air filters 1, 2 and 3. They ensure that coarse dirt particles are mechanically removed from the water. At the same time, they provide an ideal surface for beneficial bacteria to colonise and biodegrade organic waste.
