Description

Hobby Natural Moss is not only ideal for increasing the humidity in terrariums and terrascape, but also offers numerous advantages when used with plants. The moss consists of 100 % natural fibres that have a high water absorption capacity. It can therefore serve as an excellent, nutrient-rich base for various plant species.

Orchids in particular, which have high moisture requirements and can react sensitively to conventional substrates, benefit from the use of Natural Moss. The moss ensures that the roots of the plants remain constantly moist, but not too wet, which prevents rotting. This supports healthy root growth and promotes the vitality and flowering vigour of the plants.
In addition, Natural Moss provides a sterile environment that inhibits the growth of unwanted germs and moulds. This is particularly important for sensitive plant species and for growing young plants that are susceptible to disease. The natural structure of the moss also ensures good aeration of the roots, which improves the oxygen supply and supports plant growth. The small brick produces approx. 4,5 litres of ready-to-use moss.

Application

Place the Natural Moss Brick in a bucket and pour at least 1,5 litres of lukewarm water over it. After a short time, the moss will begin to expand to its full volume. The required amount is then squeezed out briefly by hand.
