Description

Hobby Terrano Forest is a moisture-retaining soil substrate that has been specially developed for forest and rainforest habitats. This substrate comes very close to natural forest soil and offers optimum conditions for growing a wide variety of plant species. Made from the lower bark of the pine tree, Terrano Forest is characterised by its germ and fungus-inhibiting effect, which is due to the essential oils it contains.

Thanks to its natural composition, it supports the growth and well-being of plant species such as mosses, ferns and some bromeliads. It creates a stable, moist environment, which is particularly important for species that depend on high humidity in their natural habitat. Terrano Forest can be used to create beautiful, near-natural landscapes.
