Description
These brown Horse chestnut leaves come from the mixed forests of the northern part of the Black Forest in southwestern Germany.
The leaves are harvested immediately when they have fallen from the trees after the first autumn storms. Then they are hand-selected and air-dried, thereby ensuring optimum quality.
The leaves of the Horse chestnut, also known as conker or buckeye, provide a good alternation in the diet of shrimps. They are popular with all hobbyists who like to add natural products to the feed.
Moreover, they decompose only slowly. Leaves like that should generally be present in each aquarium as hiding places.
Please note that it can happen that the leaves are first disdained by the shrimps because the leaves take some time to soak and open in the water.
