Description
This plant is traded as Hygrophila sp. "Thailand. It certainly belongs to Hygrophila corymbosa and is probably identical with H. corymbosa "Siamensis 53B". This stem plant features a reddish stem, quite narrow, light green leaves and an upright, very bushy growth habit in its underwater form.
As with many other Hygrophila forms, this plant has no special requirements. However it benefits much from good lighting, CO2 addition and regular micro and macro nutrient supply. It is easily propagated by cuttings.
Hygrophila sp. "Thailand" looks beautiful as a group in the midground to background of aquaria.
