Description

The ISTA Smart Filter is made of strong material for a long-term use. It is an exterior filter which can be operated as pre-filter, compact filter or in combination with others as a filter system. The waterflow is adjustable and the regular maintanance is very simple. As filter media the ISTA Smart Filter sponges can be used and filtration can be expanded by adding biological as well as adsorbing media into the filter baskets.

The Smart Filter needs a downstream filter or pump in order to be operated. Both are not included in the scope of delivery. One possible combination is the JBL ProFlow u800. It is recommended to use pumps with a maximum of 2.000 l/hour. However, the maximum pumping height should be considered when choosing a pump and positioning the Smart Filter.
