Description

To give plants a good base for a healthy growth, it is possible to add nutrient substrate beneath the sand or gravel. The JBL ProFlora AquaBasic is a good choice when setting up a new aquarium. The nutrient substrate partly consists of clay and the important nutrient iron is included. Also, nutrients can be stored and released. This promotes good plant growth and prevents algea from developing.
