Description
The JBL ProFlora CO2 Professional Set V permanently monitors and regulates the CO2 content and the pH value of the aquarium water completely independently. The JBL ProFlora CO2 Regulator Professional is very precise. It is easily installed on the aquarium in just a few steps and, thanks to the Vario principle, is compatible with JBL reusable cylinders (M system, thread type W21.8x1/14) or JBL disposable cylinders (U system, thread type M10x1). With the ProFlora CO2 Control, the CO2 supply can be determined fully automatically and regulated by the supplied Solenoid valve. The temperature and the pH value of the water are also controlled. In this way, the pH-value and the CO2 in the aquarium remain constant. Plants are thus optimally supplied with the most important building block for lush growth. The CO2 is broken down by the aquarium plants and converted into sugars with the help of light. The resulting oxygen is a very important component for the aquarium and its inhabitants. Healthy and magnificent plants also prevent algae growth, ensure a nutrient balance, metabolise pollutants and provide hiding places for shy fish and shrimps. Apart from that, healthy plants look fantastic.
JBL ProFlora Professional Set V
Installation is very simple. The pressure regulator is screwed onto a suitable CO2-cylinder and connected to the bubble counter including the check valve and then to the reactor in the aquarium by means of the enclosed hose. The CO2-gas is fed into the aquarium via the pressure regulator at an adjustable operating pressure and dissolved in the water with the help of the reactor. The solenoid valve is opened and closed fully automatically by the controller. So CO2 is only added when the pH-value rises. Since CO2 lowers the pH-value of the water, the ideal amount of CO2 can be added to the water precisely via the pH-value.

The advanced set, without digital interface is provided by the JBL ProFlora CO2 Advanced Set V.

A pH-electrode is not included and sold seperatly.
CO2-Cylinder:

Note
The working pressure can be set to a maximum of 1,2 bar. A safety valve ensures safety in case of unintentional overpressure by blowing off the CO2 into the environment.
The electrode is a wearing part with an average lifespan of approximately 24 months. Depending on handling and maintenance, this ageing process can occur more quickly or more slowly. Continuous measurement of extreme pH values, neglected calibration, contamination, etc., can accelerate the ageing process..
