Description

The JBL ProFlora CO₂ Taifun Safestop check valve protects CO₂ systems and connected devices such as solenoid valves or pH controllers from backflowing aquarium water. It prevents corrosion damage to the CO₂ equipment and ensures the reliable operation of the entire system. Suitable for CO₂ hoses with a diameter of 4/6 mm. The opening pressure is 0,6 bar.

Features

Prevents water from flowing back into the CO₂ system
Protects pressure regulators, solenoid valves, and pH controllers
Easy installation by integrating it into the CO₂ hose
Locking nuts prevent the hose from slipping
For CO₂ hoses with Ø 4/6 mm
Opening pressure: 0,6 bar

Notes

Install as close as possible to the water, just above the water surface
Not suitable for air pumps – use JBL ProSilent Safe for this purpose

Application

Cut the CO₂ hose at the desired position
Insert the check valve with the arrow pointing towards the aquarium
Tighten the locking nuts to prevent the hose from slipping
