Description

Proflora Ferropol Root from JBL are fertiliser tablets for strong plant roots in the aquarium. Many types of aquatic plants absorb a large proportion of mineral nutrients through their roots. The tablets supply the plants with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron, sulphur, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, boron, cobalt and copper. This optimal growth promotion reduces algae growth and in addition the water is not polluted as the nutrients remain in the soil.

Plant genera that absorb nutrients mainly via the roots:

Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne, Vallisneria, Crinum, Nymphea.

Plant genera that absorb nutrients both through leaves and roots:

Ludwigia, Limnophila, Hygrophila, Alternanthera, Cabomba.

Application

Large, strongly rooted plants (e.g. Echinodorus): Press one to two tablets per month deep into the soil in the root area. Stem plants: Press 1 tablet per month for 5 to 10 stems deep into the soil in the root area.

Declaration

Solid NPK fertiliser 2 + 3.5 + 5 for ornamental plants in aquariums, with trace nutrients
2.1% nitrate nitrogen; 3.5% P₂O₅; 5% K₂O water-soluble potassium oxide.
Trace nutrients: 0.08% B; 0.05% Co; 0.23% Cu; 2.75% Fe; 0.40% Mn; 0.12% Mo; 0.23% Zn.

Additional components: 4.01% water-soluble magnesium oxide (MgO); 0.51% total sulphur (S).
Storage instructions: Store dry at above 0 °C and below +45 °C. Protect from sunlight. Reseal opened packages tightly. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not allow to enter wastewater or open water bodies.
