Description

JBL ProNovo Pleco Wafer M are food tablets with wood content, in size M, for the aquarium. This food is suitable for all primarily herbivore sucking catfish from 1 to 20 cm.
With the special species concept for ornamental fish from JBL, targeted, natural food can be fed in an optimum composition, appropriate to the species. The wafers consist exclusively of natural raw materials and contain no artificial additives. This ensures a particularly healthy diet and, accordingly, a high level of acceptance. High quality ingredients such as spinach, spirulina and shrimps provide important nutrients and minerals. The wafers also contain a certain amount of wood to meet the needs of woodchippers such as antenna catfish.

As the group of sucking catfish has very unspecific diets, it is important to feed them appropriately. Zebra or cactus catfish do not eat plants, but very small organisms, insects and even dead fish. For these species the JBL ProNovo Tabs is better suited.
Feeding several different types of tablets simultaneously is not a problem and is even recommended. For example, it is possible to feed JBL ProNovo Corydoras Tabs for corydoras and ProNovo Pleco Wafer can be combined. This ensures variety and still a species-appropriate diet.

Note

Some catfish species do not eat when the aquarium lighting is activated. Therefore, it is recommended to feed the wafers after switching off the lighting. Otherwise they may disintegrate or be eaten by other animals.
