Description
JBL ProNovo Bel Weekend is an aquarium food for about 10 - 15 aquarium fish up to 10 cm in size. This staple food is suitable for all freshwater aquarium fish and lasts for about 3 days. Bottom fish such as armoured catfish or loaches can also be supplied with the food if required.
With the special species concept for ornamental fish from JBL, targeted natural food can be fed in an optimum composition, appropriate to the species. This ensures a particularly healthy diet and accordingly a high level of acceptance, even with rather fussy fish species.
The food block consists exclusively of natural, high-quality raw materials and contains no artificial additives. Important nutrients and minerals provide the fish with optimal nutrition. A calcium compound ensures the stable shape of the food block. The feed intake of the fish causes the block to dissolve slowly, which results in some total hardness being added to the water.
Note
It is important that the fish are not overfed in the absence of the aquarium owners by fellow human beings who are willing to help. Many mean too well and overfeed massively! Large, uneaten amounts of food on the aquarium floor cause high water pollution through decomposition products such as nitrite. This can lead to serious problems with the oxygen content of the water. A holiday feeder or an automatic feeder (or aquarists as neighbours) are the optimal way.
