The bioPlus fine filter sponge from Juwel forms the heart of every Juwel filter system. Due to its very fine pore structure, the filter sponge supports the biological filtration to the maximum. The flow is steady and moderate through the filter sponge and the biological filtration can unfold its enormous effectiveness. This makes it particularly suitable for biological filtration in the anaerobic range.
Manufactured without the use of chemicals, the bioPlus fine filter sponge does not contain any remains that could affect the aquarium and its inhabitants.
