Description
Kalanchoe manginii originates from Madagascar and belongs to the family Crassulaceae. This succulent plant thrives best in well-drained substrate and prefers bright, indirect light. Regular watering is necessary, but waterlogging should be avoided as it can lead to root rot. Kalanchoe manginii tolerates temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius and requires moderate humidity to thrive.
Due to its trailing stems and compact growth form, Kalanchoe manginii is ideal for small to medium-sized terrariums, especially in hanging planters or elevated positions where it can spread its stems. The bright orange-red, bell-shaped flowers are particularly striking and add an attractive colour to the terrarium. As an easy-care plant, it is also well-suited for beginners and can withstand periods of drought. Kalanchoe manginii also offers decorative elements and hiding places for small terrarium inhabitants, making it a versatile and appealing choice for any terrarium design.
