Description
MasterLine Crystal Clear is a product designed for water clarification in freshwater aquariums. It binds fine organic particles, which then gives the water a whitish haze, allowing for their mechanical filtration. Initially, the water becomes cloudier after application but clears significantly within 6 - 12 hours of filtration.
It can contribute to a natural increase of the oxygen concentration in the aquarium as it can enhance the pearling effect of plants, creating a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for all aquarium inhabitants. MasterLine Crystal Clear is safe for all forms of aquatic life, including shrimp, as long as the instructions are followed.
A graduated measuring cup from 2,5 to 20 ml is included for precise dosing. The recommended dosage is 1 ml per 10 liters of water when the water becomes cloudy (typically 2 - 3 days after a water change). It should be dosed slowly over 20 - 30 seconds during the lighting period, preferably in areas with high water flow and away from fish and plants.
It is important that the KH of the water is at least 2 degrees, and dosing should not occur more than twice a week. After each application, wait for a maximum clarification within 24 hours. To prevent suspended particles, it is recommended to clean the filter more frequently and vacuum the substrate.
