Description

MasterLine FilterMAX is a highly porous, natural filter material that has been specially developed for effective biological filtration in aquariums. It provides an ideal environment for nitrifying bacteria, which are responsible for the breakdown of toxic substances such as ammonia and nitrite. The filter medium is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums and is characterised by its reusability, making it a sustainable option.
With a grain size of 6-12 mm, FilterMAX is compatible with all common filter systems and enables optimum utilisation of the filter volume without impairing the water flow. The high porosity of the material promotes the effective colonisation of beneficial bacteria, which contribute to the stability of the aquarium ecosystem.

Note

Before first use, FilterMAX should be thoroughly rinsed with water to remove fine dust. The material should ideally be placed in the filter after mechanical filtration to achieve the best results. One litre of FilterMAX is sufficient for a 100-litre aquarium.
