Description

MasterLine KH Minus is a product for the targeted reduction of carbonate hardness (KH) in aquarium water. Reducing the KH creates optimum conditions for the growth of aquatic plants, especially for species such as Tonina, Syngonanthus and Eriocaulon. During use, CO₂ is released, which is utilised by the plants for photosynthesis.

MasterLine KH Minus helps to lower the pH value of the water, which is beneficial for many aquarium inhabitants. It can be applied using the measuring cup provided, which allows precise dosing from 2,5 to 20 ml. MasterLine KH Minus is compatible with all forms of aquatic life, including shrimps, provided the instructions for use are followed.

Application

As needed, depending on the desired KH level. 1 ml per 10 litres lowers the KH by approximately 1 degree.

Notes

Do not use to lower the KH below 3 degrees
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 2 ml per 10 litres per day; this corresponds to a reduction of KH by 2 degrees
Administer slowly over 20-30 seconds, away from animals or plants, where water currents are strongest
For a stronger KH reduction, consider repeating the dosage on different days
Avoid contact with the solution; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water
Conduct KH tests before dosing, ideally with drop tests
Do not ingest and keep out of reach of children and pets
Store at room temperature. Protect from light, heat, and frost
