Description
Neoregelia 'Eteria' originates from the tropical regions of South America and belongs to the Bromeliaceae family. This species prefers epiphytic conditions, meaning it often grows on trees. It requires well-drained substrate and indirect light. The optimal temperature conditions are between 18 and 27 °C, avoiding temperatures below 15 °C. High humidity of 50-70% is ideal, although it also tolerates higher humidity.
Neoregelia 'Eteria' is characterised by its striking, horizontally striped, rosette-shaped leaves. The leaves are lance-shaped and round off at the end, forming a small point. The plant is particularly suitable for terrariums, as it is not only visually appealing but also capable of improving the microclimate. Its flowers are small and inconspicuous, appearing in the centre of the rosette and often surrounded by brightly coloured bracts indicating the flowering period. Neoregelia 'Eteria' is ideal as a focal point or in group plantings and can be easily propagated by pups that appear after flowering.
