Description
Pinguicula 'Cherry Blossom' is a hybrid variety created by crossing two Pinguicula species. This carnivorous plant is known for its beautiful, delicate pink flowers that appear year-round. Pinguicula 'Cherry Blossom' prefers bright, indirect light and thrives best at temperatures between 20 °C and 25 °C. The plant requires high humidity between 50% and 80% and regular watering with distilled water to keep the substrate moist. These conditions make it a low-maintenance plant suitable for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts.
Pinguicula 'Cherry Blossom' is excellent for various types of terrariums, including humid terrariums, tropical terrariums, and plant terrariums. With a rosette size of about 10 to 15 cm in diameter, it fits perfectly in small to medium-sized terrariums. The fleshy, sticky leaves catch small insects, contributing to natural pest control in the terrarium. The striking, year-round blooming pink flowers add extra aesthetic appeal to any terrarium, making Pinguicula 'Cherry Blossom' a decorative and functional highlight.
