Promenaea silvana is an exotic miniature orchid that originally comes from the misty forests of South America. It is characterised by its compact growth habit and bright yellow flowers with purple markings. This orchid species prefers to grow on tree bark or moss and is a real speciality for collectors and terrarium enthusiasts looking for something unusual. Cultivation of this plant requires constant high humidity and good air circulation to mimic natural growing conditions.
