Description

Seachem Safe is a highly concentrated water conditioner in dry form. By means of highly effective complexing agents, problematic substances such as chlorine, chloramines, nitrite, ammonia and nitrates are reliably bound from the water and converted into non-toxic substances. Biofilters can then efficiently remove these complexes. At the same time, Seachem Safe is pH-neutral and does not change the acid-base balance of the aquarium. An additional positive aspect in the field of marine aquaristics is achieved by the neutral behaviour on skimmers. These are not influenced or overactivated by the use of Seachem Safe.

The range of use extends from a conversion or new set-up of the tank to the start of a new project to weekly use to reduce the toxicity of ammonia/nitrite. Use is recommended, for example, during the cycling phase and whenever a water change is due.

Application

200 mg per 200 l aquarium water to remove chlorine and chloramines
200 mg per 50 l aquarium water to remove ammonia

For the most accurate dosage, the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale can be used.
