Description

A sufficient oxygen content in the aquarium water is important because the aquarium inhabitants need it to live. Plants produce oxygen during the day, but at night without light, plants also consume it. As this can lead to a critical lack of oxygen in the aquarium water, it is important to aerate the aquarium with an air pump, especially at night. The Tetra AirSilent air pumps have been specially developed for aquariums in living rooms and bedrooms, so particular attention has been paid to quiet running. This quietness is roughly equivalent to the sound of whispering and is possible due to the piezoelectric effect. This effect also ensures very low energy consumption. Due to its small size, the air pump is easy to hide. The practical suction cup for attaching to the aquarium reduces the transmission of vibrations. The Tetra AirSilent air pumps are suitable for aquarium sizes from 10 to 40 litres.

General notes:

Only connect the AirSilent Airpump to a professionally installed power outlet.
Protect the AirSilent Airpump and the power supply from moisture.
Ensure no moisture enters the power outlet. Arrange the power cable so that it hangs down slightly in front of the socket.
Never open the housing of the AirSilent Airpump or the power supply unit.
Do not make any modifications to the AirSilent Airpump, the power supply, or the connection cable.
Immediately disconnect the power supply from the mains if housing parts or the connection cable are damaged.
The AirSilent Airpump is not repairable. Dispose of the device if housing parts or the connection cable are damaged.

Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.
Arrange the connection cable so that no one can trip over it.
Risk of fatal electric shock if the AirSilent Airpump comes into contact with water.
