Description
The Tetra replacement filter sponges filter the aquarium water in the Tetra IN Plus internal filters highly effectively. Bacterial cultures settle in the filter sponge, which are biologically active and convert toxic nitrite into the plant fertiliser nitrate. In addition, the sponge structure provides mechanical filtration that removes visible particles from the aquarium water. The filter sponges are also suitable for seawater aquariums.
